One of the booths that immediately caught my eye was that of the Norwegian brand MeMini – maybe it’s my nostalgia for my home back north, or just their clean lines, muted colors and fun concepts. Maybe it’s the little chocolate crisps that were so super delicious. Well, don’t let me get carried away. The quality and craftsmanship, as well as design look solid, and take you back to when you believed in fairy tales. To the childhood, where hot cocoa cured colds, and a Mom’s kiss made the boo boo go away. Cozy, nostalgic, warm and absolutely awesome. Little cute pouches used for packaging accessories are also one of the absolute draws. I love when a designer is not only different, but they show attention to detail in everything.

A few weeks ago I had a brother/sister shoot 🙂 To say that I absolutely loved these kids is an understatement. As seldom as I do family shoots, I almost wished we did a family shoot, because they had the coolest parents too 🙂 Mom came shoot ready with a suitcase of awesome wardrobe for the kids. And while girls are usually easy to work with, and I have to work a bit more for boys – Mr. S was a natural! Here’s a little sneak peek of elegant Miss L and the handsome Mr. S.
I had a very special guest in my studio recently. This beauty has recently turned 16, and asked her Mom book a shoot with yours truly. We at Candy Kid Photography were super excited to meet the amazingly talented Miss D. Oh, did I mention this young lady signs like a bird and donates her time and talent to charities around NYC? 🙂 Yes, Met Opera selects awesome talent!
A little sneak peek, before I have the permission to unveil the absolutely stunning Sweet 16th gown images.
I had the pleasure of working on beautiful Miss A’s comp card shoot, and this was one of my favorite images from the shoot. The depth of her blue eyes, the content and calm look on her beautiful face. Peaceful. Timeless.
As it always happens in my life, a lot of work falls on the Holiday Season. This job was no exception. Right between Christmas and New Year a client has commissioned me for a shoot to depict their F/W13 girl’s clothing line. Here’s a little glimpse of my work. More of this shoot to come in the later months, once the line is unveiled 🙂
