Spring is in the air {Grass & Clovers} {NYC kids commercial fashion photographer}

I have recently been commissioned by Sara, the owner and mastermind of Grass & Clovers to shoot her Spring 2013 line. Looking at these photos on this cold January day made me feel warm and cozy. I just need to keep reminding myself – Spring is right around the corner! Happy Friday everyone!Β Grass&Clovers SS13-44FB

Last week I have awesome siblings visit me. And while Miss L refused to play princess, she gladly joined her brother in pretending to be deer πŸ™‚ Because antlers are fun, that’s why!!! πŸ™‚

As it always happens in my life, a lot of work falls on the Holiday Season. This job was no exception. Right between Christmas and New Year a client has commissioned me for a shoot to depict their F/W13 girl’s clothing line. Here’s a little glimpse of my work. More of this shoot to come in the later months, once the line is unveiled πŸ™‚

Happy 2013!!!

Super Twins, a morning of awesomeness {Brooklyn Baby Photographer | Headshots}

I photographed these two less than 2 weeks after they were born. Can you imagine my surprise when I saw such big handsome boys rolling into the studio? πŸ™‚

They were really awesome at paying attention, and getting changed and really working with me πŸ™‚ Here’s a peek at the wonderful L twins!

S Kids New Acting Headshots {Brooklyn Children’s Photographer | Headshots}

I have had a pleasure of working with S girls about a year ago on a funky and elaborate shoot, so when their Mom called and asked if I was available for the kids’ headshots, I made sure I got time to put them in for a session.

These gorgeous kids have been an absolute pleasure to work with, and we were done rather quickly, but just spending a bit of time with them had kept me going through the weekend. What an amazing bunch!!! πŸ™‚

Candy Kid Photography {Brooklyn Children’s Photographer} entry into Chic Critique Photography Idol competition

Angela by the coopSo, I am not much for entering contests or running promos really… I’m not even much of a blogger, and it makes me sad. I try, just never find time for it. I am trying to pick up my business, and do it the right way. Not quite following mainstream with back lighting and blurred and washed out images, I prefer a bit more color, but not overly saturated. Something natural that can be easily related to. I do like to put twists in here and there, but living in a big city like NY, actually in the city, in an apartment, doesn’t offer me many meadows, forests and deserted railroads. And most of the old abandoned houses and buildings have been occupied by squatters, so a children’s photographer from Brooklyn would not dare set foot in ’em, not with clients πŸ™‚ On a rare occasion I get out to a farm or out of town, I try to sneak a few good and different ones here and there. I have been blessed with amazing clients and models and the many opportunities I have had along the way. πŸ™‚ My most updated work can be seen on the Candy Kid Photography FB page.

Here is my submission, and I wish everyone participating in theΒ CHIC CRITIQUE’S PHOTOGRAPHY IDOLΒ the best of luck!!!
