Today I have visited ENK International Children’s Club at Pier 92 in Manhattan, in search of new inspirations, beautiful designs and to see updated collections from the designers I always love to see – whether they are local to NYC or have to catch a 5+ hr flight to get here 🙂 It would only be fitting if I started the series of ENK posts with two of my favorites – at every single trade show I go in and look for these familiar and oh so amazing brands. Totally different, but equally amazing. Please allow me to introduce – Blu Pony Vintage from sunny California and Andy & Evan for Little Gentlemen from NYC.
Make sure you visit their sites for complete look at the wonderful designs these creatives are working on 🙂
Last week I have awesome siblings visit me. And while Miss L refused to play princess, she gladly joined her brother in pretending to be deer 🙂 Because antlers are fun, that’s why!!! 🙂
As it always happens in my life, a lot of work falls on the Holiday Season. This job was no exception. Right between Christmas and New Year a client has commissioned me for a shoot to depict their F/W13 girl’s clothing line. Here’s a little glimpse of my work. More of this shoot to come in the later months, once the line is unveiled 🙂
Candy Kid Photography family wishes you a super exciting year filled with joy and happiness!!! As I am headed to my first job of 2013, I am committing to my own “project 52” this year 🙂 One blog post a week until 2014! 🙂
I photographed these two less than 2 weeks after they were born. Can you imagine my surprise when I saw such big handsome boys rolling into the studio? 🙂
They were really awesome at paying attention, and getting changed and really working with me 🙂 Here’s a peek at the wonderful L twins!
- So, I am not much for entering contests or running promos really… I’m not even much of a blogger, and it makes me sad. I try, just never find time for it. I am trying to pick up my business, and do it the right way. Not quite following mainstream with back lighting and blurred and washed out images, I prefer a bit more color, but not overly saturated. Something natural that can be easily related to. I do like to put twists in here and there, but living in a big city like NY, actually in the city, in an apartment, doesn’t offer me many meadows, forests and deserted railroads. And most of the old abandoned houses and buildings have been occupied by squatters, so a children’s photographer from Brooklyn would not dare set foot in ’em, not with clients 🙂 On a rare occasion I get out to a farm or out of town, I try to sneak a few good and different ones here and there. I have been blessed with amazing clients and models and the many opportunities I have had along the way. 🙂 My most updated work can be seen on the Candy Kid Photography FB page.
Here is my submission, and I wish everyone participating in the CHIC CRITIQUE’S PHOTOGRAPHY IDOL the best of luck!!!
