I would like to offer my clients old and new an exciting, inexpensive and fun way of getting those precious images of their gorgeous and mischievously funny kids to treasure forever. I will offer PICTURE PARTIES <with resized digital files special> until mid-April ONLY. During this special, in addition to prints I will provide clients with digital images resized and ready for social networks, e-mailing to friends and family and just loading on that electronic picture frame for grandparents!
The idea behind the picture party is this – you host a party for 3 to no more than 6 families. Every family in attendance receives a 15-20 minute mini-session, and about 2 weeks later each family gets 5 retouched images in an online gallery to order prints from. The smiles, the smirks, squinty eyes and wrinkled noses 🙂 Funny and natural, just like they are every day – your munchkin’s childhood captured in images.
Who should I invite? People who love being photographed, who enjoy great company, relaxed atmosphere, laughs, fun and having awesome photos after it’s all said and done!
What do I get as a hostess? A free mini session and 3 free 5×7 prints for every family in attendance. So if you have 5 families that respond – you get 15 prints on me!
How does it work? In order for the party to take place at least 3 families need to secure the booking within a week of us scheduling the date for the party. This will enable me to commit to the date for the party, otherwise it will be forfeited. The booking deposit will go towards the prints purchase once the images are available online.
Where should I host the party? While some like to host the party in the comfort of their home and make a play date out of it, others choose a local park, a zoo, or a playground as their preferred location. I suggest hosting a party outside when the weather allows for it.
What happens if the weather does not cooperate? Just in case, make sure you have backup location arranged, with good available light for natural looking portraits.
I really hope you like this idea, I think it can be very fun and engaging for everyone involved, and can be modified in a variety of ways – from kids photos, to gal pals hanging together, to guys goofing around, to couples who want some great portraits.
